충남역사문화연구원
크렌진은 충남역사문화연구원 돈암서원 유네스코 세계유산 등재 1주년 기념으로 '돈암서원 세대를 잇다' 온라인 특별전을 위한 메타버스 방식으로 실제와 동일한
수준의 VR 돈암서원을 구축하였습니다. VR HMD 뿐만아니라 일반 PC, 스마트폰에서 접속이 가능하여 함께 체험이 가능하도록 다중기기접속 방식을 사용하였습니다.
가상현실을 사용하여 돈암서원 VR 체험을 통하여 온라인 전시를 방문하는 관람객들이 돈암서원에 대한 배울 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 돈암서원의 문화적 가치 제고와 한국유교문화진흥원 사전홍보 효과 증대될 수 있었습니다. 또한 온라인 전시 서비스를 통하여 비대면 상황에서의 사회적 연결 유지할 수 있으며, 이번 온라인 전시를 통해 충남역사문화연구원의 돈암서원을 새로운 방법으로 홍보 할 수 있어 일반 관람객과 젊은 학생들에게도 큰 도움을 줄 수는 있었습니다.
충남역사문화연구원 돈암서원 콘텐츠는 VR 기술을 활용하여 구현되는 고해상도 영상(화면)을 제공한다. 또한 돈암서원에서 썼던 유물도 정밀하게 구현하며 상호작용 가능하며, 돈암서원에 있는 건물 및 서원에서 필요한 도구 포함된 다수의 객체에 대한 3D 모델링은 최대한 정교하게 모델링 하였습니다.
